Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Mayu mobile application. By downloading or using Mayu, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

About Mayu

Mayu is a free entertainment app for browsing anime information and managing your MyAnimeList account. Mayu is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MyAnimeList, AniList, Tenrai, or any anime licensor.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mayu. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding agreement.

MyAnimeList account

Logging in connects Mayu to your MyAnimeList account via OAuth. You are responsible for your MyAnimeList credentials and activity on your account. Changes you make through Mayu (list updates, scores, etc.) are sent to MyAnimeList and are subject to MyAnimeList’s terms of use. You may use guest mode without linking MyAnimeList, with limited functionality.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes, attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our or third-party APIs, interfere with app security, or misrepresent your identity. We may suspend or restrict access if we believe you violate these Terms.

Third-party content and services

Anime metadata, images, and related content come from third-party services (Tenrai, AniList, MyAnimeList, YouTube). We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or completeness of third-party content. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual property

Mayu software, branding, and original UI are owned by the developer. Anime titles, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimers

Mayu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Anime schedules and metadata may be incorrect or delayed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Mayu. Our total liability for any claim related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which is zero for a free app.

Termination

You may stop using Mayu at any time by deleting your data in the app and uninstalling it. We may modify or discontinue the app or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your jurisdiction.
